Leftist politicians frequently cite the perceived need for a ban on so-called assault weapons, despite the fact that advocates cannot always agree on what the controversial term even means.

When it comes to concealed carry firearms, Walther is one of the original players in that arena.

They have been making firearms since 1886 and have an extensive history of producing smaller, more easily concealed guns.

Despite making some amazing pistols, Walther still seems to fly under the radar of much of the gun community.

“I said babe, that’s the car. So, I immediately call the police, 911.”

While on the phone, Wiggins says, the teens started “literally shooting, the passenger is shooting at us, because they seen, they ran the stop sign, they seen me go through. They like ‘yea she following us.’”

Wiggins said that’s when she started firing her own gun back at the fleeing suspects before the teens crashed the stolen SUV head-on into a car on Kings Lane.

Emergency hearing scheduled for second lawsuit against Illinois assault weapons ban MikeRivero Wed, 01/25/2023 - 17:10

An emergency hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning for a second lawsuit against House Bill 5471.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the state of Illinois over its recent gun control law that the group says is "unconstitutional" and a "blatant violation" of constitutional rights.

Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera has come under intense criticism for suggesting that the “AR” part in the name “AR-15” means “automatic rifle,” when in reality it means “ArmaLite Rifle.” ArmaLite is the company that first manufactured the gun.

A 31-second Twitter video captures the mistake Rivera made during a discussion with host Greg Gutfeld. The argument between the two hosts stems from President Joe Biden’s recent controversial comments declaring, “Need F-15s not AR-15s to take on government.” The argument comes against the backdrop of the wider national debate on gun control.

A bill that would ban the sale, manufacture, importation and transfer of assault weapons — and define what those firearms are — will soon enter the gun regulation debate at the Colorado Capitol.

The proposal, sponsored by Democratic state Reps. Andrew Boesenecker and Elisabeth Epps, drops earlier draft language that would have outright banned possession of those types of firearms. Conservative groups leaked the earlier version, which Boesenecker called a “snapshot in time” as they worked through the proposal. Advocates dropped that provision out of concerns of enforceability.

Chalk up yet another legal victory for gun rights advocates: On Monday, the government of Tennessee officially admitted its attempt to outlaw the carry of guns by adults under 21 is unconstitutional, The Reload was first to report.

New ATF rule sets the stage to classify legal gun owners as criminals MikeRivero Mon, 01/23/2023 - 13:50

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ (ATF) recently implemented pistol brace final rule could classify millions of gun owners as felons should they fail to comply with the updated requirements, according to the gun rights advocacy groups.

Alec Baldwin Baffled That He, Not The Gun, Will Be Charged With Manslaughter MikeRivero Mon, 01/23/2023 - 12:51

District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies announced plans on Thursday to charge actor and anti-gun activist Alec Baldwin with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western movie “Rust.” Baldwin is responsible for pointing the gun at Hutchins and failing to make sure the gun and supposedly dummy ammunition were properly checked, according to prosecutors.
