“There is something terribly wrong with this country, isn’t there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who’s to blame?”— V for Vendetta

The United States has offered strong support to Israel in its war against the Hamas militant group that rules the Gaza Strip. But the allies are increasingly at odds over what will happen to Gaza once the war winds down.

Gaza: Starving Palestinians to Death. Restrictions on Humanitarian Aid Brings Palestinians to a Single Meal a Day MikeRivero Sat, 12/09/2023 - 07:42

Due to the sealed borders and the minuscule passage of food, water medicine and fuel through the single Rafah crossing from Egypt, many Palestinians are already down to a single meal a day.

But now, according to the Israeli plan, they may be the lucky ones.

This video is the first major sign that I have seen that food will become a rare commodity and starving Palestinians with skin over bones may soon be more commonplace:

How many kids did you kill today?: An Episode in the Ongoing Nakba MikeRivero Sat, 12/09/2023 - 07:42

I watched, heard, and read with dread, sorrow, and desolation. Furthermore, I witnessed – helplessly – the unbelieving “events” “executed” (literally) in this world, the so-called “our world”. During these monstrous times – horrified and mortified – I refrained from writing while scrutinizing acts, actions, and reactions but mainly because of a refusal in my deeper self to express or react at an earlier stage… in quest, and in request, of Reality and Truth.

Israel faces growing resistance from Hamas as the fighting rages from house to house and 'tunnel shaft to shaft' throughout Gaza City MikeRivero Sat, 12/09/2023 - 07:39

Israel is facing growing resistance from Hamas as the fighting rages from house to house and 'tunnel shaft to shaft' through Gaza City.

The Israel Defence Forces pounded the length of the strip today as it stepped up its strikes, hitting more than 450 targets.

I will not look away.

No matter how horrific it gets, I will not look away.

No matter how many children I see killed and injured in the most gruesome ways imaginable, I will not look away.

No matter how much human suffering I see by keeping my gaze on Gaza, I will not look away.

No matter how many nightmares I have, I will not look away.

No matter how many tears I shed, I will not look away.

The Biden administration issued its strongest criticism yet of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza for its civilian death toll, as the Israel-Hamas war hits the two-month mark.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken stressed the U.S. concern for the protection of civilians in the besieged enclave, where local health authorities say that more than 16,000 people have been killed in Israeli attacks.

Turkey’s Erdogan is making more statements about Gaza. He says he’s ready to prevent bloodshed etc..

So far this has all been talk.

Where’s the action?

Tens of thousands of Palestinians are being slaughtered by the Zionist regime and you are just talking about doing something over and over.

The Yemen Houthis didn’t make such speeches. They just started firing rockets and seizing ships. That’s the type of action we need against these evil Jews. We don’t need any more speeches, summits and meetings.

In the first weeks of the Gaza-Israel war, the ICC’s prosecutor issued a statement in which he said that impeding aid to Gaza could be a crime, but was later revealed to have traveled to Israel and is being accused of stalling the courts investigation into war crimes. “If this is not a case that calls for an international tribunal, then the Rome Statute should be null and void,” says American attorney Stanley Cohen, speaking to RT.

The US has cast the lone dissenting vote against a proposed UN Security Council resolution that would have demanded a humanitarian ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war, amid rising civilian casualties in Gaza.

Thirteen member states voted in favor of the resolution, which was put forward by the United Arab Emirates on Friday in New York. The UK abstained, leaving Washington diplomatically isolated in blocking the measure.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) is facing fierce resistance from Palestinian armed factions while advancing in the Gaza Strip.

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Movement, and the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, both released videos on December 8 showing their fighters clashing with Israeli troops in Gaza City and targeting several main battle tanks, armored personnel carriers and bulldozers.
