In March, the US banned all imports of Russian oil and gas as part of America’s sanctions against Moscow over its special military operation in Ukraine. As for Iran’s oil industry, it has for years been operating under US sanctions over what Tehran says is a purely peaceful nuclear program.

Two French spies arrested in Iran some four months ago have admitted to their attempts to provoke anti-government protests and riots with the ultimate goal of putting pressure on the country’s Islamic establishment.

The two French nationals, Cécile Kohler, 37, and Jacqeus Paris, 69, traveled to Iran on April 28 as tourists but turned out to be spies for the Western agencies.

Video has circulated on social media of girls in Iran waving their headscarves and chanting "get out" at a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) during a talk at their school.

"Get out, Basiji!" shout the pupils, referring to a faction of the IRGC which often enforces internal security in the country.

The Iranian regime kidnapped, torured, raped and killed Nika Shakarimi for protesting the death of Mahsa Amini just days before Nika’s 17th birthday, opposition accounts on Twitter report. The Biden regime wants to send billions of dollars to the terror regime.

The Iranian navy will take part in joint exercises with Russian and Chinese warships “this autumn,” Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri announced on Thursday in Tehran.

The chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces did not provide many details about the planned maneuvers, but mentioned the possibility of other countries such as Oman and Pakistan joining as well.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Tuesday appealed for national unity and tried to allay anger against the country’s rulers, even as the anti-government protests that have engulfed the country for weeks continued to spread to universities and high schools.

Raisi acknowledged that the Islamic Republic had “weaknesses and shortcomings,” but repeated the official line that the unrest sparked last month by the death of a woman in the custody of the country’s morality police was nothing short of a plot by Iran’s enemies.

Iran has faced two weeks of civil unrest following the death of a 22-year-old woman named Mahsa Amini in religious police custody under suspicious circumstances. Tehran released CCTV footage debunking protesters’ claims that the woman was beaten into a coma, and accused the US and others of trying to foment a color revolution.

Hezbollah secretary general Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has ripped Washington for engaging in a “satanic” campaign to try to bring down the Iranian government and divide the Islamic world.
