Never Trumpers and disgruntled former White House staffers fell hard for Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony on Capitol Hill Tuesday only to be left embarrassed when bombshell reports began to contradict her wild claims.

On Tuesday, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified that former President Donald Trump literally tried to commandeer the presidential suburban during the January 6 riot and became borderline violent when Secret Service agent Bobby Engel tried to stop him.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Times published an op-ed entitled, “Why Does the Pentagon Give a Helping Hand to Films Like ‘Top Gun’?” by Roger Stahl, a communication studies professor at the University of Georgia and director of the documentary film “Theaters of War: How the Pentagon and CIA Took Hollywood.”

Michael Stenger, 71, was the Sergeant at Arms of the Senate on the day of the tried insurrection.

He left amid denouncement he had failed to respond effectively to the building being raided.

His sudden death on Monday came the same day an unexpected further hearing of the committee investigating the riot was declared.

The surprise meeting will "present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony."

The committee is supposed to hear from Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide to Donald Trump's chief of staff Mark Meadows, on Tuesday.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas suggested on Monday that the court should maybe reconsider libel rulings that increase the difficulty in an individual suing a media company for defamation. He disagreed with the Court's decision not to take up the case Coral Ridge v. SPLC, which would have brought New York Times v. Sullivan into question.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a debilitating disease that disconnects the afflicted from reality. Although most are either born with or have developed a natural immunity to this sickness, there are still those who attempt to spread the infection.

It now appears that Cassidy Hutchinson, an aide to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows in the Trump administration, has come down with an acute case of TDS. The only cure might just be some time in jail.

Former Mark Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson's "bombshell" testimony to the Jan 6 Committee was undermined within hours on Tuesday after NBC News reported that the Secret Service's lead agent and the presidential driver are both prepared to testify under oath that neither were assaulted and Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.
